A little while ago, I heard a story about this man who had just managed to reconfigure his connection settings in way to that made it possible for him to call for free via the Internet. (Now do have in mind that this was a couple of years before Skype).

The man was obviously proud of his achievement and remarked: “It took me 14 hours to set the system right and I did finally manage to call for free”. Read More

Do You Want To Hear The Good News First Or The Bad News?

April 21, 2007  |  No Comments

As some of you might know, I have section on my site where I frequently post new Free education software (everything from memory software to solving equations…) and some of you might have noticed that it’s been down for a day or two. This because of two reasons:

a) Bad News: I received an e-mail from a reader telling me that one of the programs might have had some sort of virus, so in case you downloaded any software. Be sure to check them before installing them! You should do this even though I am sure that it didn’t effect all the software.

b) Good News: The problem is being handled and I’ve decided to greatly expand the number of free software. From this point one, I suppose I will have to check each program before I upload it. Yeay, more free software! 🙂
