No need to apologize, I can understand your concern. I've dedicated an entire chapter of the Study Guide PRO to deal with this precise issue. The first thing I would do (and I do realize that I'm a little late with this answer, sorry *blushing) is to map out a strategy for further study. If you don't have a clear and concise method for studying you're kind of fighting empty handed. A good way to start this is by forming a mind map. This will enable you to visualize the different aspects of your particular subject. When it comes to memorizing the type of information you mentioned in your situation I would recommend a gradual and persistent learning curve. If you plan on cramming hundreds of different images in one shot, it's probably not going to work out. BUT if you instead gradually learn say 10 per day (for example) while constantly revising yesterdays notes, you wont forget it!

For instance, if you were to watch a series you've never seen before and try to memorize all the different names and characters of that show, you may be able to do so in one day. But if I were to ask you to recite those names the following week you would most likely not be able to do so. If however I were to ask you the names and characters of your favorite show, you will be able to tell me the names of every character of that particular show. The reason for this is as follows; it is better to study less on a continuous bases than to study less under a short time span.

Anyway, if you're interested in memorization techniques I would direct you to take a look at the Study Guide PRO. I'm planning to compile a book on memorization techniques only sometime in the near future. All previous customers (who bought the Study Guide) will have free access to that book as well. Have a nice day!

There are two reasons why? people learn ; one because someone said you can not and the others said you can.

Azucena, I couldn't agree with you more. :)

I personally believe that there is no way that any teacher (no matter how good s/he is) can teach you anything UNLESS you are willing to learn in the first place.

Knowledge can not be attained unless we are open to it, while information on the other hand doesn't require any attentiveness at all.

I will have to agree as well, realistically alot of people don't naturally percieve to wake up each day to search for something new and discover new knowledge because we are so caught up in our routinal world that we tend to expect and rely that someone else will do it for us or we just have to go to sit in a class and have someone else educate us. We know information is there but it is really up to us to look for it.
