It’s always relaxing when the summer break starts, isn’t it? You can’t study intensively all the time, everybody needs a break every now and then and the summer plays an important role in all of this.
If you intend to take some courses during the summer and you’ve studied all semester I would recommend you to take it easy, there’s a risk that you could wear yourself out. Hence everything should be taken in moderation, even studies.
Having said that, it should also be noted that it’s quite easy to become stiff and lazy because of the long break. So if you’re not taking any courses and if you’re not working during the summer I would advise you to at least read a little every so often.
You don’t even have to read about your subject, why not learn a new language or read a little about cooking. “Light weight reading” has it’s benefits, it’s not completely tiring like studying to pass an exam while at the same time it keeps you alert and ready so you wont feel like a zombie when the new semester arrives.
That’s all for today, hope you’re enjoying your summer! 🙂
