"He who does not know one thing knows another."

Don't assume someone is ignorant just because they didn't know a small piece of information. They may know a lot of other things besides this one thing.
Beyond this simple point, there's a deeper lesson hiding between the words. To be truly ignorant, you have to choose to fill your head with trivial, useless information. Ignorance, then, is not so much about not knowing as it is about knowing useless things.
